Make win 11 think USB external drive is internal drive

I'd like to make 4T external USB3 drive seen by Win 11 as an internal drive. Then my on-line backup service (which only does internal drives) will back it up too (I think). I'd appreciate advise on how to do this. 3rd party software use is OK too, if that is easier. Many thanks.
