One Drive Problem

One drive has taken over mt pictures folder and its file path is one drive. I found i cannot stand this program and i stopped backing up files. When I quit one drive my pictures folder disappeared. It only comes back when I sign into one Drive. Also, when I pause syncing screen shots are not saved and camera roll also is affected. How can I get the picture folder back locally where it belongs and how can I shut down One Drive for good. Thanks in advance for any help!
