In Windows 10 I had a Quick Link on my Taskbar. After installing Windows 11 the Quick Link was no longer on the task bar. The information that was in the Quick Link is still in my computer, but I can't access it or get it pinned to my Taskbar. I'm hoping ever so much that you will be able to help me. Thanks a bunch, Uncle Dewey

Hello and welcome to the forum.
As it stands right now and for the foreseeable future, Windows 11 does not support much in the way of Taskbar customization.

Just a guess but by "Quick Link" can we assume you mean the Quick Launch toolbar that many employed on the taskbar in previous versions of Windows?

I'm afraid, at least for the time being, we are left with some third party products that offer some retro help.
I've used the following with some satisfaction...

There are others that I've sampled with varying results and satisfaction.
Explorer Patcher seems, at least currently, the simplest to employ as well as being very easy to remove and revert back.
Best of all, it's free.

I got lucky with Windows 11.:rolleyes: I never had used the taskbar except for the default shortcuts, and a couple of my own.. Ditto tin the start menu. The square was empty and minimised. Now empty, but, at present, unable to minimise.
